This quite simply one of the BEST INVESTMENTS that you can make in your health.

If you are going to place it on carpet there is a trick to making sure it operates smoothly. I originally purchased this treadmill in March of 2023 and started using it right away but because I had it directly on my carpet the heat from the engine caused the housing around it to warp.

I contacted the manufacturer who promptly exchanged it for a brand new one (phenomenal customer service)

I then picked up a floor mat to place on the carpet and went down to the local home depot and had them cut out a piece of plywood so that I could place my treadmill on top of it.

This did the trick and no more issues with heat.

As to the treadmill itself; it works exactly as directed. When I first started using it I was tipping the scales at 260 lbs and it held me up just fine. I'm currently 240 lbs and am continuing to slim down thanks to the 10,000 steps I take on a daily basis.

On average I do anywhere between 4,000 - 7,000 steps per day... every day on my treadmill.

As long as you keep the belt appropriately tightened and use the oil dropper that came with the packaging there isn't any reason this piece of equipment shouldn't last for a considerable amount of time.

It's almost 2 years now that I have been using this non stop and have never had an issue with it once I corrected the heat problem by using it on a hard flat surface (plywood).

This is a very high recommendation for you to pick it up for yourself.

You'll get a ton of use out of it.

I've had this for about a month now, using it almost every day, and it's been great! Very quick and easy to set up, once out of the box I got it ready for use and connected to the app in about 5 minutes. The app it comes with is the best, no subscriptions/fees/ads to access all the features. You can control it fully on the app (starting it, controlling speed), track your steps, distance, average speed, set goals you want to reach for each use, etc, just turn on the switch and you're good to go. The step counter is also close to accurate, since it measures the steps you're actually taking and not guessing based on the speed (if you step off while it's still running, the step counter stops), but I have seen a few reviews saying it can be a little off compared to an Apple Watch if that's important to you. The app also comes with fun challenges and tours you can do (George Washington bridge, alpine scenic tour, etc). I was overall impressed with the features the walking pad came with for its price.

The walking pad is small and compact, so even if you leave it out between uses it's easy to move out of the way or maneuver around. When I use it I can easily prop it up on the wall behind an open door and it's completely hidden, and I imagine it could very easily slide under a couch since it's very flat, but you'd need to detach the tray every time. I'm 5'9 and the belt length is fine and I haven't had any issues with it, even when getting up to a jogging speed. I could see if you're 6' and up and wanted to jog it could be a little short, but my 6' roommate has tried it just for walking and it's worked great. I also use it on carpet and sometimes rugs and have had no issues there. It's very sturdy, no shaking or wiggly parts or clanking sounds. It's super quiet, which is nice so you don't have to blast the tv while using it! It's easily foldable, and I find it more convenient to not bother with tightening the knobs at the bottom since it doesn't really matter. It's very nice that when folded down, it displays your numbers on the bottom so you can still keep track. Just make sure to detach the tray from the stand when using it folded to avoid accidental kicks. I noticed some reviews complaining about the red safety magnet/clip thing detaching and suddenly stopping the walking pad (the red thing I've pictured on the underside of the foldable stand) I just untied the string so it stays attached and have had no issues. The speed on this little thing is impressive, the most I have gone up to is about 4 mph for a light jog, and it can get up to 6.5 mph.

Now my small complaints. The plug is at the front of the walking pad and the cord it has isn't that long, I had to buy an extension cord for where my outlets were located but that was a small inconvenience that was easily fixed, especially if you already have a three prong extension cord laying around or if your walking pad will already be facing a wall for a desk. Second, the tray is really only useful for your phone and chapstick. If you have any remotes bigger than the one they give you, it'll slide off and be a bit wobbly, and there's definitely no room for a water bottle. If you're using it just as a walking pad and not with a standing desk, it can be annoying. My solution was I bought an attachment made for baby strollers to hold my water bottle and such which has worked perfectly.

None of these complaints were worth dropping a star, since they are more personal annoyances and not about the quality of the product. Amazing walking pad for the price! Very impressed with my experience. I say there's no need to spend more money on others unless you're concerned about the belt length or want lots of extra features, because this one has been perfect!

I work from my home office most of the time and I'm also an avid runner and health & fitness freak. Sometimes, the virtual meetings would extend for well over an hour and that made me think that I need a standup desk as I really don't like to sit for more than 45 minutes straight. Then, I thought I may as well add an under desk treadmill to walk while I'm working for recovery purposes and also add in some easy miles for warmups and cooldowns for my vigorous runs outdoors.

This Urevo 2-in-1 under desk treadmill has turned out to be the perfect solution for my needs. I considered around half-dozen treadmills and this one seemed to have the best combination of features and versatility I wanted. It's compact and easy to move out of the way when I do want to sit down. It's quiet enough for work while walking. It provides enough speed for easy/slow runs and even for some rigorous workouts. It's also priced reasonably for a good value-for-price quotient.

As for the cons, it's a bit noisy when you increase the speed for running to 5mph and up. I'd crank up the music on the speakers for running or use ANC earbuds. It doesn't have any programming for advanced workouts or incline but that is expected for a treadmill at this price point. I would have especially welcomed the incline feature for more rigorous walks. These quibbles aside, I find it perfect for my requirements in the home office. I wouldn't recommend it for serious running and I wouldn't recommend it for those who only want to walk but, for those who want to walk as well as put in some easy-to-moderate pace runs, I highly recommend it.

    ***UPDATED REVIEW***
After a year of use, I still REALLY like this treadmill. It's helped me easily reach my daily step goal while being able to continue working, since I use it with my standing desk.

However in full transparency, my treadmill started to emit a burning smell when I used it (after about 8 months of use). My usage during those last few months was as follows: 4-5 days a week/ 2-3x a day /1 hour at a time. I usually used it on speed 2.2 - 2.4 when working, or speed 3.4 for an hour when not working. The burning smell started out gradually and over time grew very strong. Then one day (almost a year to the date of purchase) I walked briskly for about an hour on the treadmill, but the burning smell was extremely strong so I cut my hour short. I turned the machine off and came back to use it about 5 hours later & it would not work anymore. When I turned the power button on it gave me a E5 then an E6 error and the belt would not move.

I emailed Urevo Customer Service with my Amazon order number, since I was still within their 1 year warranty, and got a prompt response. They asked me to go through a couple of troubleshooting steps, send a video of what was occurring, and take a picture of the sticker on the unit. I did all of those things, and Urevo shipped me a brand new treadmill. I reached out to them on 2/20/23 and received my new treadmill on 3/1/23. I am extremely satisfied with their customer service!

I am a little concerned about the longevity of the treadmill, and wish I knew what caused it to burn out. I really hope this one doesn't do the same thing. But if it does, I hope it's within the 1 year warranty :)

    ***END OF UPDATE***ORIGINAL REVIEW BELOW.

I REALLY like this treadmill. Despite some of the negative reviews I went ahead and took a chance on this one due to it having controls on the raise-able arm and also a separate remote. I wish it was all black instead of orange and black, but what can ya do??

Anyways here’s the nitty gritty. I’ve owned this thing for about 2 months and so far it’s perfect. It operates exactly as is stated.

Set up: Easy! Took it out of the box, added the lubricant as suggested, attached the plug & voila! Was super confused at first when it wouldn’t turn on then realized there’s an On/Off switch underneath.

Usage: I use it in 10 minute intervals for brisk walking (3.0-3.4 setting) throughout the day, 5-6 days a week. Sometimes if I’m watching TV I’ll use it for 20-30 minutes at a time. I turn it off by the off switch after each usage (just so it doesn’t zap electricity - maybe this matters, maybe it doesn’t 🤷🏽‍♀️). And I unplug at the end of each day. I have not had any error messages or any need to adjust the belt at all.

Storage: Pictures attached show this thing next to my dining room table, and it is not as small as you think it would be. It’s pretty heavy too. That being said- I, a 5’4” woman, can lift this thing and stash it in it’s “put away” space. I store mine standing upright, and have had no issues with that. When you get this thing up on it’s wheels it rolls really easily. I saw someone say that the wheels damaged their floor while rolling. I have wood floors and have not had that experience.

MAJOR FYI/CON: When we unboxed this, we could not find a plug to plug it in to. Every plug we tried, this thing tripped the circuit and caused the power to go out to a certain part of the house. I really panicked about this, thinking I had bought a piece of expensive equipment I wasn’t even going to be able to use 😭. That being said, we have these floor sockets in certain areas of our home and that are not on the same circuit with anything else. These are the ONLY plugs in my house this thing works on. This works for me because the plug is in the area I planned to use the treadmill in anyway. But be very careful about this so you're not wasting your money!

Otherwise, I couldn’t recommend enough. It has really helped me get my steps in while working from home!

    [Update: 1/2023]
I've now owned this treadmill for around 1.5 years. It's been a good purchase but looks like it is coming to the end of it's life. If you read my original review you'll note that by two months in I was already concerned about the oil light being on constantly - and I was right to be concerned.

Perhaps 4 months ago it began occasionally smelling like burnt rubber despite my regular application of significant amounts of oil. This smell became more frequent, so I can now run it for short periods of time but it quickly begins smelling burnt, so I turn it off frequently.

This past week I think I found the problem. When flipping it up on it's side I noticed that the vents were clogged with pet hair. I removed all the pet hair but it's too late. Part of the plastic shell has melted and I believe this is what is causing the friction with the belt and the subsequent burning rubber smell.

I think the pet hair had two effects on the treadmill: (1) it increased heat within the system because it couldn't be disbursed through the vents and (2) it absorbed some of the oil as it went through the unit.

So I'll be looking for a new unit soon. If it wasn't for the pet hair my guess is it would have lasted another year or two at least.

    [Original Review]
I bought this treadmill well over 2 months ago and have used it almost daily, oftentimes for 4-6 hours per day. It works well and overall I have been pleased with the treadmill. I do have some concerns about longevity. Primarily because the oil light came on and no matter how much oil I supply it with the light doesn't turn off.

It's also worth noting that I used a table chair with four legs on top of the treadmill for a while when I needed to sit rather than moving the treadmill. This seemed fine for a while, the feet rested on the sides not the track but eventually the left side cracked (as can be seen in the attached photo). I'm sure this is outside the intended use / not the safest so not recommending it to others, but wanted to mention in case anyone else is doing it.

I don't regret the purchase and am happy with the product. That said, let me note a few other "weaknesses" I hope will be fixed in a future iteration:

    1. The treadmill suddenly stops after 90 minutes. This can be quite unexpected, especially the first few times, and could throw someone off their footing. I am unsure why it stops after 90 minutes.
    - Doing away with the 90 minute power off would be ideal.
    - If it must remain, then having it offer some warning before it does so and transitioning slowly from the current speed to stopped would be ideal.
    2. Having to add oil in two different locations (where there is a small opening for it and under the belt) is not ideal. It would be better if the opening could supply oil to both locations.
    3. If using with a desk it can be a bit of a pain to turn off/on. This is because the remote needs to be pointed fairly directly at the top of the treadmill or the signal is not received. In my case this means sticking the remote under the desk and pressing the controls a few times till the desired action occurs.
    4. It would be ideal if it offered a smartphone app in addition to the remote control. I've almost lost the remote control a few times and it is one more cluttering device.
    - This would also be ideal because right now the treadmill itself only offers single session tracking. Ideally, tracking should be kept across time so one can see distance traveled, speed, calories burned, etc.
    - Ideally there would be an integration with Google Fit, Apple Health, Fitbit, etc. so that the information could be synced with these and other applications. Personally, I use Fitbit but the Fitbit is worn on the wrist and doesn't capture most exercise performed while working at a desk.

I looked at a number of different models available before selecting this one. I looked for a high review score with a decent number of reviews, speed range (slowest to fastest and how fast it allows without the bar up [e.g. for under desk use]), weight, and features. I'm still happy with this purchase...will update if that changes. :)
