I purchased my walking pad a little over a year ago and feel I have had it long enough to provide meaningful commentary. The TLDR is that it is decent for the price, but it has some caveats that need to be addressed.

    First some background.

I purchased this to attempt “walk while I work” since I started working full time at home last year. While I ended up abandoning this due to my productivity tanking, the walking pad was well suited for this task. Its ability to operate with the bar down helped getting close to my desk for ease of typing and use of the mouse. The remote came in handy for adjusting the speed, but it was really sensitive to line of sight issues and needed to be pointed bang on in order to register.

I side-graded the unit to my living room to “walk while I watch TV” which was a much more productive use of my time. The problem however came after a few months and the decking cracked while I was walking one morning: at about 4.0 mph. While watching tv I noticed that the deck started to feel a bit spongey particularly in the middle. After some inspection I noticed a crack down the length of the decking. Please note at this time I was 250 pounds which is under the max limit of 275, but I had been doing some light jogging on it as it has a top speed of 7.2 mph so I figured why not. What likely happened is the decking is not rated for someone of my weight to do any sort of jogging just walking.

Contacted customer service and they sent out a new one free of charge. Set new up one up and kept it strictly for walking, and so far no issues with the decking; but there are other quirks.

First quirk/issue is that the belt shakes at lower speeds. 0.6-2.5 mph is the range it is most noticeable, and continues regardless of how tight, loose, or lubricated the belt is. The belt even does it while running without anyone on it. This became somewhat problematic when my girlfriend had surgery and needed to walk a bit every day. The walking pad seemed better than going outside where she could get stuck due to exhaustion. She could only walk at the slower speeds and the shaking was an issue she that caused problems. Her having surgery isnt the treadmill’s fault, but having a treadmill that operates without issues would have been very helpful.

Second quirk: it has a run time limit of 99 minutes. I knew this going in and didn’t think it would be an issue, but turns out it is really annoying to be in a good stride and then boom stop, and then messing around with it to get back going.

Third: the instruction manual I received isnt accurate regarding the maintenance. It says in order to tighten the belt you need to turn one side clockwise and the other side counter clockwise basically like you are turning the hex key towards each other. This is incorrect, and in reality, you need to turn both hex keys in the same direction (clockwise) to tighten and counter clockwise to loosen. I only know his because I took the first unit apart and tested it before taking the frame to the scrap yard.

Overall it is decent for the price I paid, but I wouldn’t be satisfied if I had paid even 100 bucks more than I did.

Note: This review has a happy ending.

Bought this treadmill as a surprise gift for my husband's birthday. It arrived 4 days ahead and I hid it in a closet until his birthday. I was super excited to give it to him and he was thrilled when he received it. He unpacked everything and maneuvered it to his office. Plugged it in, flipped the switch underneath to turn it on, the display lit up, he pressed start from the remote, everything did what it was supposed to do, but the treadmill wouldn't activate. Ok....start over. Still nothing. Grabbed the instruction manual and made sure the magnetic safety latch was closed (or as the manual says, "make sure it's on," which I believe is misleading.) Still...NOTHING. We repeated this process at least 12x, unplugging it, moving the cord to a new outlet, raising the handle bar, locking it, putting it down. Was he too heavy? No. Still no movement.
I tried. Was I too heavy? NO (I'm 150lbs). No progress. On 2 occasions while standing on it, an "E02" error flashed briefly, but then went away. We thought, aha! We didn't add lubricant! So we grabbed the bottle, emptied 10mL into the little whole, then unplugged everything, switched it back on, pressed start, beep beep beep.....and again, NOTHING. We tried manually rolling the belt to see if it would start. Nope. After 90 minutes of this plus googling and watching videos (which weren't helpful -- this thing should be just plug and play), not only was I about ready to cry in disappointment (remember, this is a bday gift) but we decided that this treadmill was indee defective. I emailed Urevo.. then decided to call Amazon. They tried to provide "product support" but all they did was read off the trouble-shooting section in the manual. It was decided a replacement needed to be shipped and the only option was that it would take a week to arrive. (*Heavy sigh*)

But as it turns out, as I was on chat with Amazon, my husband was lifting the treadmill to start putting it back in the box and he heard a faint "plink" coming from the underside. He turned over the treadmill completely and saw a bottom panel. He removed the panel with the screwdriver as his suspicion was that something might be loose in there. When he lifted the panel, he saw one thin red wire laying unattached to the motherboard. There was only one place where it could be plugged in, so he stuck it on and turned the treadmill back upright. That did it! Treadmill started right up just as it should and problem fixed! He easily replaced the panel on the back, moved the treadmill back to the desk area, and away he went....happy as can be! We suspect this wire just came unplugged during shipping. So the moral of the story is: If this treadmill stops working suddenly or never worked straight out of the box, you might want to check to see if all of the wires are attached by removing the underside panel. Not suggesting you do anything to void the 12 month warranty, of course, but this is the trick that worked for us and it was an easy fix.

As for the review, I gave it 4 stars only because it was a hassle for 90 minutes trying to get it to work, plus he's only used it for about an hour this morning so not enough time to give it a long term assessment. It rolls easily but still a bit heavy. Love that the handles fold down for a smaller profile and it is the exact size for a 5'10" dude walking about 3mph. It is low noise (not whisper quiet but not too loud either) and it looks really modern and sleek. He prefers to walk on it with socks or slippers, not shoes. The one downside I see right now is that if you are someone that switches often between treadmill and sitting at your desk, then you're going to need a nearby, convenient spot to store this as you move it back and forth frequently (which might be a bother for some people). It also attracts dog hair quickly! It only lies flat so if you enjoy walking/running on an incline, you're not going to achieve that with this model. I don't know about the "safety magnet" either. If you have the handles raised and trip or fall, I don't think you'll be able to flick this little lever in time to get the belt to stop. But overall, pleased with it so far. This is the first home treadmill we've purchased and it fits under his desk perfectly. I foresee a lot of use outta this thing.

PS. BTW, in case you're wondering, yes, I did cancel the replacement from Amazon.

    [Update: 1/2023]
I've now owned this treadmill for around 1.5 years. It's been a good purchase but looks like it is coming to the end of it's life. If you read my original review you'll note that by two months in I was already concerned about the oil light being on constantly - and I was right to be concerned.

Perhaps 4 months ago it began occasionally smelling like burnt rubber despite my regular application of significant amounts of oil. This smell became more frequent, so I can now run it for short periods of time but it quickly begins smelling burnt, so I turn it off frequently.

This past week I think I found the problem. When flipping it up on it's side I noticed that the vents were clogged with pet hair. I removed all the pet hair but it's too late. Part of the plastic shell has melted and I believe this is what is causing the friction with the belt and the subsequent burning rubber smell.

I think the pet hair had two effects on the treadmill: (1) it increased heat within the system because it couldn't be disbursed through the vents and (2) it absorbed some of the oil as it went through the unit.

So I'll be looking for a new unit soon. If it wasn't for the pet hair my guess is it would have lasted another year or two at least.

    [Original Review]
I bought this treadmill well over 2 months ago and have used it almost daily, oftentimes for 4-6 hours per day. It works well and overall I have been pleased with the treadmill. I do have some concerns about longevity. Primarily because the oil light came on and no matter how much oil I supply it with the light doesn't turn off.

It's also worth noting that I used a table chair with four legs on top of the treadmill for a while when I needed to sit rather than moving the treadmill. This seemed fine for a while, the feet rested on the sides not the track but eventually the left side cracked (as can be seen in the attached photo). I'm sure this is outside the intended use / not the safest so not recommending it to others, but wanted to mention in case anyone else is doing it.

I don't regret the purchase and am happy with the product. That said, let me note a few other "weaknesses" I hope will be fixed in a future iteration:

    1. The treadmill suddenly stops after 90 minutes. This can be quite unexpected, especially the first few times, and could throw someone off their footing. I am unsure why it stops after 90 minutes.
    - Doing away with the 90 minute power off would be ideal.
    - If it must remain, then having it offer some warning before it does so and transitioning slowly from the current speed to stopped would be ideal.
    2. Having to add oil in two different locations (where there is a small opening for it and under the belt) is not ideal. It would be better if the opening could supply oil to both locations.
    3. If using with a desk it can be a bit of a pain to turn off/on. This is because the remote needs to be pointed fairly directly at the top of the treadmill or the signal is not received. In my case this means sticking the remote under the desk and pressing the controls a few times till the desired action occurs.
    4. It would be ideal if it offered a smartphone app in addition to the remote control. I've almost lost the remote control a few times and it is one more cluttering device.
    - This would also be ideal because right now the treadmill itself only offers single session tracking. Ideally, tracking should be kept across time so one can see distance traveled, speed, calories burned, etc.
    - Ideally there would be an integration with Google Fit, Apple Health, Fitbit, etc. so that the information could be synced with these and other applications. Personally, I use Fitbit but the Fitbit is worn on the wrist and doesn't capture most exercise performed while working at a desk.

I looked at a number of different models available before selecting this one. I looked for a high review score with a decent number of reviews, speed range (slowest to fastest and how fast it allows without the bar up [e.g. for under desk use]), weight, and features. I'm still happy with this purchase...will update if that changes. :)
