Upon researching various options, I came across a robot vacuum-mop combo that had received positive reviews. The prospect of a device that could handle both tasks was appealing, and the available discount made it an opportune purchase. The unit arrived promptly and, to my surprise, was almost fully charged. After a brief 20-minute top-up, I filled the water reservoir with tap water and set the robot to work. I appreciated its methodical cleaning pattern, moving back and forth in parallel lines, a significant improvement over my Deebot's random navigation. Observing the dampened floor trail, I felt optimistic about its mopping capabilities.
Upon returning home, I was pleased to find the living room floor spotless. However, I had neglected to close the bedroom door, and the robot had ventured into the master bathroom, ending up on the rug—a minor oversight on my part. Emptying the dustbin revealed a surprising amount of debris, even though I had vacuumed prior to the robot's operation. Notably, the water reservoir had used minimal water, indicating efficient mopping. For future cleaning sessions, I'll ensure all doors are appropriately closed to prevent misnavigation. I have yet to explore the app and Wi-Fi functionalities, which promise additional convenience. One feature I miss from my Deebot is a storage pocket on the charging dock for the remote control. Nonetheless, this new robot came equipped with two AAA batteries for the remote, an extra set of side brushes, and a spare filter. I look forward to many more cleaning sessions with this upgraded device.
There are two levels of cleaning and I have used only one (regular). I says that the higher power cleaning will use more of the battery capacity. At the regular setting the robot will clean everything I have without running out of power. There is a switch that can be set so that the robot will return to the dock if it runs out of battery power, recharge and then continue with the cleaning. I guess that there will be no duplication but since I have not needed that feature, I can't say for sure.
One thing about it that gets noticed is that it collects spider webs from kick areas under the cabinets. These accumulate at the front of the robot and must be cleaned off manually.
The other vacuum had two brushes and this one has one. I have not seen any problem in having only one.
Overall, I am satisfied with the product.
I like the little mop feature but don't use it too often. I've only used it 3 times in the last 4 months to do a spot clean on the kitchen floor in between the deep cleans.
If you're looking for a vacuum cleaner that's going to leave your floors spotless after every use, you're going to be disappointed. It does keep most of the hair in check in between big cleanings so if youre looking for something to help out a bit this will work great for the price. I like the app and the fact that I can turn it on from work to have it run before I get home. Plus, my cat likes it.
The only downside is if you have a google nest or google home, it will not connect via wifi! But still works just fine with out it!
For context, I'm chronically disabled and my partner is autistic. Cleaning has always been difficult, especially the floors. As disgusting as it is, we just sort of let the floor get bad. Hairs and debree got stuck, and our mop wasn't the best. We did sweep occasionally, but we are busy and have to go to my appointment, so there wasn't much we could do to handle the filth.
Because homes usually get worse during the holidays because you are staying in more, I got a vaccum that wasn't a robot vacuum to help. However, we needed a mop, and our current mop wasn't very good. Because of that, even if $200 is a lot for people like us, we figured the deal was more than worth it because we very much needed it. And oh boy, we did.
PROS:
Cleans floors amazingly
Isn't too loud
Mops and vacuums at the same time, something that would otherwise be impossible with regular household gear and a regular cleaning regiment.
Gives our house more life, and can be fun to look and interact with
Is able to timed and customized endlessly with the in built app
App is free
Is easy to connect to charger
CONS:
Small water tank so it doesn't mop for very long. Water tank drips even when not attached to vaccum
Gets stuck in desk chairs
Has an AI which while advanced, may be lacking in certain areas since desk chairs and chairs in general are a major obstacle for it
Can get large mads of hair stuck half way easily, leading to an awkward hair trail or something that could become a huge mess if not taken out
Beyond that, this is a great product. I still rate it 5 stars despite the issues stated since they're minor inconveniences and don't ruin the product. However if the company can improve the product, that would be very much appreciated.
The mop does work just need to make sure that the floor is empty of any toys or curtains from touching the ground. So far it has worked and hopefully it lasts long enough that I won't need a new one.
The only critique I have is that at the end of its programmed run time it doesn't return to the charging dock, but that's such a small detail that it doesn't affect my overall opinion about the vacuum.
For my 50% hardwood, 20% tile and 30% carpet floors, I definitely want a vacuum+mop combo. For cleaning under my low profile Japanese style bed, I need a super low profile device. I don't need a brushroll because I hate cleaning hair wrapped around it, and I have no pets. I don't care whether the robot builds a map of my house or not. I don't care how long it takes to clean the floors because normally I start the robot only when I leave the house for more than an hour.
This reasonably priced vacuum+mop robot meets absolutely all my requirements! Note that vaccum robots are generally _not_ intended for deep cleaning. But compared to my old robot, this new robot has a much higher suction power, so it cleans more effectively, this is visible with the bare eye. It also has a larger water container and improved water dispenser that keeps the mopping pad wet for longer and makes mopping more effective. This robot is also more compact and lightweight.
I was really happy with my old robot, but this new generation robot is even better! I only wish it lasts for 6 years as the old one.
I work full-time and one of the things that annoys me is when the floors get messy.
Between my children and my dog it’s always something.
I can just hit the remote from my phone and this little vacuum goes throughout my house and picks up everything that I would while I’m working at my desk.
Only one suggestion- pick up and charger cords or wires
It wont ruin them but the vacuum will stop until you clear the wire from it
Overall, I like it. A lot. Will update when I use the mopping feature.
lol Quiet. I like that it notifies you with a beeping sound when it gets stuck. All around.... i love my Robot Vacuum Cleaner!!!!
My whole family have it by now , after seeing one at my sisters home. We got so happy and excited about ordering more and more for each other. We even over purchase and have to return one LOL
I am a bit concerned that parts are not clearly and easily associated with the product on the page but it came with enough extra parts - sweepers, filters and pads - to keep it going for a while.
I use bona liquid for mopping and it worked perfectly fine with it. It does a decent job on the carpets too for the most part with some exceptions where you may notice few miss of hairs but nothing bad. I will recommend this product for the price point and I am very satisfied with my hardwood floors cleaning.
Robot con sus espacios en casa.
Amazon Support shipped a replacement for next day deliver.
After fully charging the replacement unit, it fired up as it should. This unit “sucks” in an incredibly good way. It is really nice to sit in my home office and the floors vacuumed and mopped at the same time.
I highly recommend this unit and special thanks to Amazon Support for looking after me.
This mopping function is ok, since you can’t really put cleaning solution in the machine, it’s more to just clean surface spills.
This also doesn’t have a certain path it follows like other name brands, so it’s hard to know if it’s missed a spot or not. But since I put it on the automatic cycle, I don’t come home to any noticeable messes.
Once it’s battery is low, it will return to its charging port. You do need to make sure you have any small items it could get stuck on picked up or close bathroom doors, ours likes to get stuck in there.
Overall, I am highly satisfied with this product and would recommend.
I have not used the mop option yet. But am looking forward to seeing how well it works on the LVP! I'm pretty sure I'm going to like it too!
As far as the mopping, you fill a reservoir and attach a mop pad. It vacuums at the same time. It doesn't scrub, so it's more like putting a shine on a floor that's not too dirty.
Excellent value for the price.
The only issue I can name is that sometimes it can get stuck under the sofa because the sofa is that tricky height where the robot can pass so it starts cleaning under it, but then the clearance gets lower and it may get stuck... but this is only due to my sofa sizing, I bet any robotic vacuum cleaner would get the same.
And it always gives me giggles when it goes to the fridge, I joke it's like a robotic pet :)
Overall I would purchase again. Good quality for the price!
The mapping function seems to be primarily for historical/review purposes as I haven't figured out any way to direct it to clean just a specific room/space. The auto clean function, however, does a pretty decent job at covering the area. The vac can traverse most wood to rug transitions, but rugs with a thick pad sometimes pose an issue. Otherwise, beyond railings, small movable objects, and power cords it seems like the vacuum is able to navigate pretty intelligently. Since we do have rugs we haven't tried the mopping function, yet... as a standard vacuum to supplement typical cleanings, though, it seems to do a pretty good job!
Pros:
The suction is very good and picks up dust and hair without a problem.
You can program it to come on at a specific day and time and it has a repeatable schedule.
It maneuvers around tables and chairs very well.
Easy to clean and a extra set of brushes and HEPA filter are provide.
The noise is not bad particularly when you program it for quite mode.
The battery allows the vacuum to operate for about 90 minutes.
Cons:
We wish the software was more robust so that you could program the vacuum for “virtual” walls so that the XIEBro would avoid specific areas.
The mop, while a nice idea, is not useful. We agree with other reviewers that the mop feature on the vacuum functions as a damp rag that you would lightly push around the floor. In other words, it does not do much.
Dropping the price to below $200 was our motivation to buy it and try it. At that price, it is a fine purchase and recommended.
Six month update, it’s still going strong even with only using the foam filter. We don’t run it daily and soon it is going to get moved out to a smaller house we have on our property just to aid in cleaning there while I remodel it. I often think about buying several of these to just sit and wait for this one to crap out, but would only do so if the price was right.
I had an opportunity to buy this mop combo with a discount so I bought it after reading the reviews. If nothing else I would have a backup if the older one died again. It was easy to get started. It came quickly and almost fully charged from what I could tell. I plugged in the charger and let it charge for about 20 minutes and then set it loose. I was leaving the house for a while so I cleared everything out of the way. Easy to do in the living room since our furniture had not yet arrived. I filled it with tap water and watched it for a few minutes. I liked how it cleaned back and forth in parallel lines unlike my Deebot that went all over in a random pattern. At first I could not see the wetness but after a few seconds could easily see where it the floor had been mopped. We then left the home to hope for the best.
When I came back home the living floor looked great! I forgot to close the bedroom door so I found it in my master bathroom on the rug. Oops! I emptied the dust bin and checked on the water. Very little water was used. The dust bin had a surprising amount in it since I thoroughly vacuumed before I started the mop. I returned it to the charger. Next time I will make sure to close the bathroom door and not worry about any prep of the floor since it did both jobs at the same time beautifully. I did not yet add the app and use the wi-fi function but will try that soon. One thing I missed from my Deebot was a pocket on the charger to store the remote. This one came with 2 AAA batteries for the remote and an extra set of replacement side brushes as well as one extra filter. Hopefully I will have many cleanings with my new robot.
