Overall brilliant
It took about an hour and a half to put together , all the parts were there and it looks great on the deck. Can’t wait to use it
BBQ itself is good- excellent feature is the pull out drip tray. Not easy to assemble.
Use silicone sheets on top of grill to keep it clean- they do give food the BBQ flavour (or burnt texture)
Bit tricky too build
So today was the hottest day of the year so far and I built the BBQ on my own and took about 1 hr 30 mins and was fairly easy to do.
Get everything laid out in front of you and it’s no problem at all.
Used it tonight and it’s a fantastic BBQ
Love that everything can come out to be cleaned easily as well
Have used a few times and I’m really happy with it.
Parts had been tightly packed under the BBQ lid and strapped in place which were impossible to get be and clearly the box has been dropped as the main polystyrene packing pieces were broken in more than once place.
I have contacted Amazon to arrange a replacement, but unable to get the tightly packed items back under the BBQ grill lid without causing possibly damage so will have to go back in two boxes. Awaiting Amazons feedback.
Update :
Replacement firebox received in days after being contacted by the supplier over the weekend. Damaged firebox returned via our local pickup point!
BBQ assembled, although not the best of instructions... Just had a test run using a friends Butane cylinder and all went wellish!!. We just need to wait a few months till we can get a Calor Patio Gas cylinder of our own, till then it's hiding under cover 🙂
This arrived yesterday and it was the perfect day to sit in the garden and build it.
I'm rubbish at stuff like this, I really am, but it look me about 90 minutes, which I was fine with. From the other reviews, I was expecting to need to order a takeaway instead, but all was fine.
It's a brilliant barbecue, does exactly what you need it to do, and I'm quite a fan of the cover for the side burner .
Grills go into the dishwasher and a wipe down of all other parts keep it nice and clean.
One last thing, the drip tray design is incredible! It's genius!
First (and only) problem with the assembly instructions was the first step. The illustration shows the bolt for the wheels going through the frame and into the wheel. It works - BUT - you can't fit the hub cap over the protruding bolt. Remedy - put the bolt through the wheel first and then through the frame and the problem is solved. Otherwise straightforward. There are a couple of tricky bits in the later stages of assembly where you need to rest the partially completed assembly on its back in order to secure the shelves (or - if you are agile enough - get underneath the body to secure them). You might need a second pair of hands to align and fit the control knob for the side burner but otherwise you don't need the brains of an arch-bishop to build it. I "field tested" it on completion and everything seems to be in order. Just waiting for lockdown to lift so that we can have a full on family celebration and use it properly.
Only time will tell regarding the ease of cleaning - thus my score of 3/5.
The only thing that bothered me are the wheels. Not sure if I'm missing something but they're either really wobbly or locked tight... Can't figure it.
Delivery was also excellent. It arrived about 5 days early!
I'll update once properly put through its paces
Some reviews say it is difficult to assemble and needs 2 people for 2 hours. May be I used to shop at Ikea too much, because I put it together in 65 mins on my own. Easy to follow instructions. All parts included, with some spares.
The only fault in my opinion is that there is insufficient flame, which makes it more like an outside oven/grill. It still cooks lovely but, just not like a BBQ, ie. flame grilled. My fault possibly, as I did read a review that said it only cooks properly when the lid is down. Even with that said, for the price, it is exceedingly good value and probably one of the best ones availble in the price range.
I am a fairly proficient DIY'er and to put this into perspective I am able to rewire lights, re route plumbing and wallpaper and paint proffeciently.
This took me 2 hours to out together properly.
But oh man, it's a great barbecue. I love it. My wife loves it and the in laws love it.
It's a faff putting together but is solid and stable and is worth the cash.
Trust me, I'm a doctor
You obviously can control the temperature and minimise burning food to a crisp. The other half loves it
Looking forward to using it when the sun come out Quick and easy to make dinner, If its hot in the house you can cook and stay out outside in the cool.
It’s easy to clean and quick to pack away once it’s has cooled off with. No mess of having to clean it out from ash and get
2. Very good quality
3. You need to buy hose and regulator separately!
4. Just need better weather to test it out 🌞

Assembly took less than two hours - roughly 20 mins to unpack the parts then 1hr 30 mins to assemble. I had ‘help’ from my five year old and the dog - no other adults needed. Assembly can be a little fiddly.
Gas tube and regulator are not included - we spotted this in the reviews and bought a butane set in advance - though we could have bought propane if we’d preferred, according to manufacturer’s description on Amazon.
Very pleased overall!
I would definitely recommend
No, what I want to do is just give people a heads up - there's a lot of assembly required and it WILL take two people. Obviously, friendless singletons aren't supposed to want a big BBQ!
My husband and I did this together and sometimes my help was required just because my fingers are smaller for getting into places to turn the screws/bolts, but at least a few times he had to hold pieces in place with both hands - occasionally applying force - while I did up the fastenings. You also need good light because the whole thing is black.
The instructions are the usual pictorial - i.e. unhelpful but cheaper for the manufacturer than hiring translators - type and MOST of it was possible to puzzle out between us. The main hiccup was over the part that actually will (eventually) have gas running through it. It took some time before we realised you have to turn this virtually right round to get the correct part to go through the hole on the side burner extension. This was one of those bits that required someone strong to first turn it, then hold it in place until another person could secure it.
As I say, now we have finished assembly (over a few days due to the low winter light) it looks great. We had to leave one bolt/screw out as they had only sent the exact number and one had no thread, but it was for a piece that already had sufficient fastenings and apart from that, the BBQ came with all the correct fixings (and in some cases extra, just not for this one) and everything does fit well, even if it takes more than two hands and occasionally some strength.
a couple of stretches and bents on the doors but nothing that impacts the usage or the cooking.
Highly recommended.
p.s. the cover recommended by Amazon is a bit big for this bbq.
Good value for money.
Not used it yet but it is a nice liking bbq.
Only disappointing thing was the day after I ordered it it was reduced in price x
