   Solid design, model accuracy, and iconic styling make this set stand out. I pre-ordered and it arrived on time without issue. There are countless LEGO builds out there, but this one feels special—truly worthy of public display.
   
   Build Experience:
   Assembly complexity is on par with other adult sets—engaging but manageable. The design choices are thoughtful throughout, and if you have spare pieces, you can easily customize aesthetic details (e.g., replacing visible red pins) for an even cleaner finish.
   
   Value:
   Given the model’s accuracy and display quality, the price is justified. It’s a strong addition for both Dune enthusiasts.
   
   Verdict:
   Highly recommended—both as a rewarding build and as a centerpiece for display.

   This is an incredible build. It’s amazing how they fit the mechanism to fold and flap the wings, the landing gear and the back ramp inside of the small body. It also just looks fantastic; even better than in the product images. Having all of the first film’s characters in mini figures is pretty cool too. Here’s hoping they do more Dune vehicles, like the Spice Harvester, or the ominous Harkonnen ship from the start of Part 2.

   This is the most challenging Lego set I've assembled, and it was totally worth it! One massive tip I'll provide upfront - check, recheck and triple-check the positioning of each piece compared to the instructions. I found out the hard way that if you are one "pip" off in certain places the blades won't flap, etc. and you will need to disassemble, sometimes a lot, to fix things. But that's the only negative. The instruction book is very detailed, which helped a lot. The parts are organized into multiple bags for a phased approach - I did one bag a day until finished. I love the characters especially the "hovering" Baron Harkonnen. The completed Ornithopter now occupies a place of honor!

   I'm a little old to have a model hanging from my roof but this model can only be displayed properly with wings extended. I wish the wings were a bit stiffer but it's a FIVE star build and a sturdy completed kit. Lots of moving parts so it's an expert build.

   This set was a blast to build, it presents extremely well, and has a great price for what you get. 8 unique Minifigs and this monster of a replica! The intricate build might take some extra time as you make extra sure of the orientation of EVERY piece as you assemble. The center wing mechanism is masterclass in engineering. I didn't get it off Amazon. I got mine from Legoland here in CA and built it that day, so I can't speak for delivery or anything like that. This 5 Stars is purely for the product itself. I hope we get more Dune sets, but if this is the only one we get, I'm extremely happy with it!

   If I can describe this set in one word, it would be that it’s engaging. Adds complexity with the wing mechanisms, landing gear, and loading hatch at the bottom which gives a bit of a challenge to overcome as you build. Includes an astounding 8 (!!) unique minifigures, which is pretty unheard of. You don’t have to be a Dune fan to appreciate this build.
   
   I do wish the sides had less exposed bricks and red clip pieces, but the build overall is fun, challenging and overall a good time. Worth every penny for what it is!

   This is a high level set, but it's not just a matter of size, this set is more about skill because there is a lot of technic. But the instructions were pretty easy to follow and the features with the wings, landing gear, and ease of use of the cockpit is soooo good. Easily one of the best lego sets I have ever built. It reminded me of that satisfying feeling of twisting the gear in the x-wing and having the wings open up.

   Challenging and astounding

   First, I’m an advanced builder. I’ve done hundreds of sets over the last few years, mostly 18+ and some of the most advanced sets LEGO has available. This is by far one of the most complex and rewarding builds I’ve ever done. If you’re a first time builder or your last set was a castle when you were 8 years old- this set might not be the best set to jump into.
   
   As for the review mentioning a missing piece. As I said, I’ve built hundreds of sets- never had a single missing piece. Almost 100% of the time, it’s the person building not being thorough. They’ll spend hours scouring the floor but not think to look back in the bag. That’s almost ALWAYS where a “missing” piece is.
   
   In any case, LEGO will rush out a replacement for that piece you probably threw in the trash.
   
   This set is a great value. Number of minifigs is insane. And it may be the only Dune set we get.
