    This is a really hard one not to recommend. The value is ridiculous. It wasn’t my favourite build, and there is definitely a good amount of repetition and you need to be careful when building parts, so pieces don’t fall inside, with the pillars, they can be hard to get out, but the sheer value here, makes it a set worth owning.

    Due to the amount of small pieces and the fact that if they do indeed fall inside, and you have to pick up the whole set and rattle it around and turn it upside down (it’ll be pretty heavy at this point) I’d probably recommend it for late teens/adults. I’m sure a child could put it together, but it might not be the best set to get for a child.

    Got this to add to my collection. It came out looking really nice. Was fairly easy to build for a somewhat experienced builder. There are many pieces that need to be “eyed” for straightness. And it is on the smaller scale. I was a bit overwhelmed by all the bags but I sorted them by number and it was fairly easy. Only a few bags at a time are needed in every step so there’s not a lot of digging or searching. No pieces missing, and directions are laid out well. My 5th star is missing just because I wish the set was scale to the LEGO characters (not included) and was a bit pricey. It can also accept a light kit which I opted out of because I’d already spent enough on the set.

Pieces stick together well and not easily knocked off with my clumsy fingers. I didn't find any pieces missing. Nearly every bag had a few extras. The brand to me is not any more expensive then any other well built brand. I definitely highly recommend this brand.

    La construction est toujours accessible car les consignes sont très claires, et le résultat superbe. Nous aurions aimé que la cathédrale soit plus grande et qu'elle soit équipée à l'intérieur de ses chaises, de quelques objets de culte, de personnages, car nous sommes habitués aux constructions de ce type (le cinéma, la ville), mais je comprends que l'esprit de la collection "Architecture" est différent. Je ne doute pas qu'illuminée, elle soit encore plus belle. L'emballage a changé et est devenu très mince! Le carton va devoir être bien protégé et mis au-dessus de la pile de Lego: c'est dommage car ces jeux sont destinés à durer et passer à la génération suivante! Les pochettes plastiques transparentes sont remplacées à l'intérieur par des sachets papier opaques: moins pratique, plus écologique. Je ne regrette pas mon achat pour autant, d'autant plus que la cathédrale est arrivée à point pour la réouverture de Notre-Dame!

    While I wasn’t as enthusiastic about finishing this build as quickly as I have been about others in the past I would say it’s all in all still a rewarding experience by the end of it. Definitely an intricate build and at times can become a little overly tedious. The finished product looks great though and I appreciate the relatively small footprint that they made this with.

    Very into the Lego architecture sets, especially the historical ones as classroom decorations, and was very excited when I saw this set coming out, as I just visited Paris (post fire, but it's still just a beautiful sight to see). I preordered and it when it arrived I was excited to get started. Took my time with this one because 1. A lot of parts and 2. parts of it were a challenge. The end result is FANTATIC can't wait to put it up in my classroom. My students love these sets and they draw a lot of conversations.

    This model was a lot of fun to build. There is a lot of repetition, but it’s paced in a way to make it more bearable. The most amazing thing for me is the level of detail, particularly of the interior, which is almost entirely covered over and not easily visible in the completed model. The designers put a lot of time and effort into making this model accurate, and the only downside to that is I’m afraid now that if I went to Paris to visit the real cathedral, I might be disappointed.

    Terrific historic details were interspersed throughout the "Did You Know" comments in the instruction manual. It's also so clever the model build was in the same rough order as the various elements of the cathedral were actually constructed/consecrated. As the world anticipates the reopening of the cathedral later this year, this is a great set, and released at just the right time for advanced/adult Lego fans. I had a very enjoyable time putting this one together.
