This little mower/edger/trimmer may be small but it cut foot tall grass with no problem. Works like a charm. Very easy to use. Quiet, durable

Decent stringer. I purchased mainly for the mower deck. I had a better stringer but had to return due to weight and causing back pain. In comparison the original unit had more power and a larger cutting path. However, for my needs and comfort this one does the job. A good unit for anyone with back issues and just has a small area that needs attention.

I wasn't expecting much from this glorified weed whacker. Unboxing was easy. The model comes with a mower, trimmer and edger. It's light as a feather. There are two batteries with this model and that came in handy.
It's really for small areas that don't require a full mower, gas or heavy battery.
Bonus! These batteries work in a variety of tools.

This thing is awesome. Literally just a weed wacker on wheels but one of the best home purchases I've made. My front yard is pretty small and the back yard is on a very steep hill, so a traditional lawn mower or even a riding lawn mower wasn't practical. This is extremely light weight and easy to move around and you're essentially doing the same motion as if you were vacuuming the grass. It's very quiet and doesn't take much room to store. It's only down side is the battery life isn't very long and cutting tall grass will zap it quickly. But they send 2 batteries, so you can charge and alternate. Highly recommend for small lawns and hard to reach/navigate areas.

My old trusty Black and Decker rechargeable lawn mower finally stopped charging and with only a 30x18 ft lawn I decided to give this tool a try. I love that it took only about 10 minutes to put together, and is lightweight and easy to use. The battery is also easy to insert and remove. The mower is a perfect size and has plenty of power to mow, edge, and cut down any weeds in the side yards on one battery as long as the lawn hasn't grown too tall; then the second battery is needed. I don't yet know how often the string spool will need replacement but the spool compartment was easy to open. It takes about 4.5 hours to charge an empty battery which could be better but overall this multifunction mower/trimmer actually makes yardwork fun and quick!

This was exactly what I was looking for. I have a small area to mow and usually use the trimmer rather than drag out the mower. This results in a sore back and uneven lawn. This was the perfect solution. Assembly took minutes. It's light weight and easily snaps in and out to go from trimmer to mower. The handle adjusts to height and the wheels adjust to height for an even cut. Simple light weight design but does the job. Comes with 2 batteries. Great value for the price. Love it!

Works as advertised and very convenient to have. Perfect for my 600 sq ft patch of grassy paradise in the middle of the city. 1 battery pack covered my exact space. Only negatives are that it costs 50% more than it should and the battery should be much more heavy duty -- as the batteries die down over time, it will be inconvenient to switch packs in the middle of a mow.

I live in Phoenix on an acre parcel and most of it is in desert landscape. Therefore no formal lawn to mow. Yaaa. However when it rains here the weeds grow, well like weeds. Fast and furious. This year we had lots of rain and lots of weeds. I've been running a battery powered weed eater every day for a week or so. My back is aching from twisting sideways back and forth so it was time to look for a better solution. I figured how about a small battery powered lawn mower and then I found this thing at about half the cost. So figuring I'd probably junk it after a couple tries I decided to give it a try. Really glad I did. Soon as it arrived I put it together and out I went. It had just rained again and everything was wet but I had to try it. Worked perfectly. Knocked down and chewed up everything I ran it over and no extra back pain as a bonus. I charged up the batteries( comes with 2) overnight and set out to do a good cleanup the next day. This thing is a real delight. It runs about 20 minutes on each battery and since the batteries are fairly small you can carry the spare one in your pocket. another thing about the batteries is the way they eject from the tool. Push the button on the battery and it pops out of the tool's battery compartment. I mention this because removing the battery from my other "green" weed eater is a real chore You have to push in 2 tabs, one on each side of the battery, and forcibly pull it from the tool. My wife can't even manage doing it and I barely can, often resorting to prying it loose with a screwdriver while pushing the tabs with both hands. The black and decker baterries just eject with 1 hand by pushing the button, I love it. When you get close to a fence or wall and the platform won't get close enough, the weed wacker removes from the deck instantly by stepping on a lever on the deck and lifting the handle of the weed wacker forward and up. To return it back in the deck reverse the process, simple and easy. Keep in mind this is a regular string trimmer. It is not a bladed lawn mower and does not do the job of a bladed lawn mower It is a string trimmer on wheels. because you push it similar to vacuming a carpet , front and back, front and back, instead of constantly twisting sideways it doesn't put the strain on your arms and back liike a regular string trimmer does. It does not mulch as fine as a mower would and if you have tall weeds or grass as I did you will need to make several passes, as you would with any string trimmer except you don't have to hold it up, just push it back and forth. I have not had to replace the line yet so I cannot comment on that, except to say looking at it, it looks like the exact same process as the other 2 trimmers I have. To clear the bottom of the deck I simply remove the trimmer and wash out the deck with a hose. its been coated with wet grass almost every time I finish. I'm sure dry shorter vegetation will cut much easier. I'm cutting damp weeds and bermuda grass about knee high. The deck is light weight plastic but seems durable enough. If the deck should deteriorate and I have to replace it, the replacement cost of the set is about the same as a different manufacture's string trimmer alone. but I'll worry about that if it happens. so far I have no regrets whatsoever.

I bought this mainly because we need a weed eater. My uncle has a tractor mower, and comes and mows our lawn and my grandparent's lawn (they live right next door to us) every other week or so, but the weeds close to the house, and off the curb need to be cut. He used to bring his weed eater too, but hasn't at all this year, and they got to be almost 4' tall by the time I found this to purchase. I did a lot of research on weed eaters. I needed one that was light enough for me to handle, didn't vibrate as much as most do, and also had the edger function. Yes, you can turn any weed eater into an edger by holding it differently, but the guide on this really helps me out. It's super easy to do with the twist of the handle, lock it in place, and you're good to go.

Our sidewalks at both places, haven't been edged in goodness......many many many years. The grass and weeds had grown many inches past where the sidewalks actually end on each side. This made the first couple of times edging a bit difficult, and cumbersome. It wore out the batteries really fast, which was frustrating. However, it did make me take breaks. Long ones. I would love to get the fast charger for the batteries, since it takes many hours to charge each one. I highly recommend, making sure both are fully charged before starting any project that will take more than 20 minutes.

I do love that the batteries stop blinking when they are charged. You also cannot overcharge them, which is huge to me, because I always have a tendency to forget batteries that are being charged, and leave them on the charger for days on end. That is perfectly ok with these! No worries!

My grandparent's lawn is more of a fescue......very thin blades, and easy to cut. Our lawn is more like bermuda grass, and is very very thick, and takes more energy to cut. I am able to cut their front lawn in 20-30 minutes with this mower. Then I switch out the battery to do edging and weed eating. I love this mower/weed eater/edger!!! It's great! It's super lightweight, and the vibrations are definitely there, but not noticeable when in mower mode. I do notice them when using the edger/weed eater though, so I need to get some anti-vibration gloves to help out with that. My nerves have a difficult time handling vibration, even from a shopping cart across a parking lot. They vibrate for hours afterwards, it's quite irritating. So, most probably would not think the vibration is an issue at all is what I am trying to say. I am just way more sensitive than most people are when it comes to that.

It was super easy to put together. I did it by myself in about 15 minutes or less. It's mostly put together anyway. I did watch a youtube video on the assembly that someone did, and I highly recommend it. It was very helpful. I watched it before it arrived, and then I was ready to assemble when it got here.

The weed eater is a breeze to remove and put back into the mower section. Just press your foot on the handle and it releases it. To put it back in, just place it in the open section matching the shape of the weed eater, and lock it in place by pressing down with your foot on the segment. It really couldn't be easier. I can lift the entire mower/weed eater/edger with one hand, and that is including with the battery. It can't weigh more than a few pounds. It's probably the lightest mower out there, and probably weed eater too. It feels like a child's play mower it's so light.

It cuts nicely, and evenly, and it's easy to see where I have mowed and where I haven't. It does a nice, clean job. I am quite impressed with it, as is my grandpa. I never thought I'd be mowing a lawn with a weed eater, but it works great! Now, I have not attempted to mow our backyard with it, because of the thick bermuda grass. It is quite a large yard, and it would take me several days to mow it just because of all the charging I'd be doing with the batteries. I figure, my uncle is going to mow it no matter what anyway, so I'll let him do the backyards, and I'll handle the front yards, and do all the weed eating and edging. It works out great for us, and I definitely recommend it, but do recommend either another set of batteries, or the fast charger for them. I would definitely buy it again, no doubt!

DEFINITELY AN EXCELLENT BUY. THE DESIGN IS TINY, AND WILL MAKE YOU DOUBT IF IT WOULD BE POWERFUL ENOUGH WELL IT IS. I HAD MEASURED MY YARD IN DIFFERENT ARES TO MAKE IT EASY FOR EVERYONE TO UNDERSTAND HOW MUCH SPACE YOU WILL COVER WITH THIS YARD. MY BACKYARD MEASURES 25 FT BY 10 FT. IF I DID ONLY THIS PART THE BATTERY SHOULD VA LASTED FOR ME TO MOW THE VERY HIGH GRASS THAT I HAD SINCE MY GAS POWERED MOWER DIED AND I DIDN'T HAVE ANYTHING TO MOW IT UNTIL I DO SOME RESEARCH AND FINALLY BOUGHT THIS UNIT. THE MOWER COMES WITH 2 BATTERIES WHICH LAST FOR ABOUT 20 MINUTES EACH. KEEP IN MIND THAT MY GRASS WAS WET SO IT MADE IT WORK A LITTLE BIT HARDER. SO IF YOU HAVE A YARD THIS SIZE IT SHOULD BE ENOUGH FOR YOU TO MOW ON 1 BATTERY AND TRIM IT AFTER THAT.

I WOULD NOT SUGGEST USING THIS MACHINE ON WET GRASS, EVEN THOUGH IT IS A WELL BUILT MACHINE IT MAKES IT HARDER FOR YOU TO MOW SPECIALLY IF YOU HAVE NOT MOWED FOR A GOOD PERIOD OF TIME. SO GOING BACK TO MY YARD SIZE I MEASURED NE PART (THE BACKYARD 25 X 10 FT) THE SMALL FRONT YARD, 8 FT BY 8 FT THE OTHER PART OF THE FRONT YARD 25FT BY 6 FT AND THE OTHER PART OF THE FRONT YARD 15 FT BY 7 FT. I THOUGHT THAT MY YARD WAS SMALL COMPARED TO MY OLDER SINGLE FAMILY HOME WHICH HAS A HUGE YARD. NOW I LIVE IN A TOWNHOUSE CORNER LOT SO THE YARD IS MUCH BIGGER THAN INSIDE TOWNHOMES.

ALSO FOR TALL GRASS YOU WILL HAVE TO MOVE IT BACK AND FORWARD BECAUSE AS I SAID IT IS TALL AND JUST LIKE A GAS POWERED MOWER THAT YOU HAVE TO MOVE IT SLOW OR IT WILL GET STUCK, THIS ONE CAN OVERHEAT AND YOU CAN DAMAGE YOUR UNIT. I GUESS YOU WILL BASICALLY MAKE THE MOVES LIKE IF YOU ARE VACUUMING A HOUSE, THIS IMPORTANT STEP MAKES YOUR LIFE EASY.

HANDLE IS EASY AND COMPACT ENOUGH FOR YOU TO NOT NEED TO PUSH LIKE THE HEAVIER GAS POWERED ONES. THE ONLY CON IS THAT YOU HAVE TO KEEP PRESSING AND YOU CAN EASILY GET TIRED BUT IT IS NOT A DEAL BREAKER. IT ALSO HAS A AUTO FEED SYSTEM SO LIKE OTHER TRIMMERS YOU DON'T HAVE TO KEEP FEEDING THE LINE ONCE IT GOES OFF, IT WILL AUTOMATICALLY FEED ITSELF BUT ONCE IN A WHILE IT MAY GET STUCK OR THROW TOO MUCH LINE AND YOU HAVE TO STOP AND CORRECT IT. TO CORRECT IT TAKE THE CAP OF THE FEEDER AND MOVE IT WHILE PULLING IT A BIT OUT COUNTERCLOCK WISE UNTIL YOU ARE LEFT WITH LITTLE LINE ABOUT 2 INCHES THEN YOU PLUG IT BACK IN. YOU HAVE TO PLAY WITH IT SO YOU KNOW WHAT IM TALKING ABOUT.

I WAS MOWING MY GRASS WITH MY SPEAKERS ON AT 6 AM, AND MY WIFE SIAD THAT SHE COULD HEAR MY MUSIC BUT SHE COULDN'T HEAR THE MOWER SO IT IS PRETTY QUIET, SHE IS VERY SENSITIVE WHEN IT COMES TO NOISE SO IT MUST BE VERY QUIET.

ANOTHER PRO IS THAT YOU WILL NOT GET AS NASTY AS YOU DO WITH A GAS POWERED ONE. REASON FOR THIS IS THAT SINCE IT IS SO TINY IT DOESN'T MOW AS MUCH AS A REGULAR GAS AND HAS LESS POWER THAT IT DOESN'T THROW TO MUCH AT YOU. REMEBER THAT WHEN YOU MOW YOU GET ALL GREENISH, WELL THIS WON'T HAPPEN AGAIN I POSTED PICTURES OF MY SOCKS AFTER MOWING A LOT OF GRASS EVEN ON WET.

YOU WILL ALSO NEED TO USES GLOVES OR A BRUSH TO GET THE GRASS AT THE BOTTOM, JUST LIKE A GAS PWOERED ONE YOU WILL ACCUMULATE GRASS UNDER THE TRIMMER AND YOU WILL HAVE TO STOP AND MAKE A CLEAN JUST TO BE SAFE AND NOT TO OVERHEAT THE UNIT.

IT IS VERY LIGHTWEIGHT EASY TO USE AND A PERFECT REPLACEMENT FOR A GAS POWERED ONE, I M GIVING FIVE STARS BECAUSE IT DOESN'T DESERVE TO GET LESS BECAUSE OF THE CONS THAT IT HAS. NO MAJOR ISSUES. IF PEOPLE GIVE IT LESS THAN 5 STARS IT IS BECAUSE THEY ARE NOT USING IT ON WHAT I WAS MADE FOR.....SMALL LAWNS......

AS YOU CAN SEE ON MY PICTURES MY LAWN WAS VERY TALL IT WAS MORE THAN 12 INCHES, BUT THE MOWER DID A GOOD JOB AND DID NOT WEAKENED AT ANY POINT. BATTERY DOES NOT LAST AS LONG AS IT SAYS BUT HEY IT IS WAY ABOVE AVERAGE IT LASTED MORE THAN I WAS EXPECTING IT. I WAS ONLY EXPECTING IT TO RUN FOR 10 MINUTES ON EACH BATTERY.

I WAS ALSO EXPECTING IT TO EAT A LOT OF THE LINE CUTTER BUT IT DIDN'T YOU HAVE TO KEEP IN MIND THAT ON A GAS PWOERED YOU HAVE TO SPEND ON OIL, GAS MAINTENANCE AND HOPE THAT NOTHING HITS THE BALDES BECAUSE AS SOON AS THEY ARE TORN YOU ARE OUT OF A MOWER. MAKING THE MATH IT WILL BE ABOUT THE SAME BUT WITH THE CONVENIENCE OF A MUCH SMALLER MOWER THAT YOU CAN HANG ON ANY WALL YOU HAVE USED FOR TOOLS.

I HOPE MY REVIEW HELPS BUYER AND DEFINITELY IT IS WORTH THE TRY.

GREAT QUALITY BUT REMEMBER IT WILL BE BEST FOR SMALL LAWNS BUT YOU CAN USE IT ON LARGER AREAS BUT IT WILL REQUIRE YOU TO WORK A BIT MORE.
